What has been done with Audacity today....

Today was a fun day with working with our audios in Audacity. In Audacity, you can use effects to create a new audio. You can amplify your audio, compress, equalize, and do fun things such as change the speed and the pitch. You can reverse your audio and add an echo for silly sound effects. Then in class we imported a song called "Long Hair Country Boy." Then we cut the song and moved our audio so we can have a music intro. We faded the song out and faded our voices in. What I have learned so far this semester...

So far this semester I have learned many tools that are very useful to use inside a classroom. Using Google documents, sites, and gmail are now my favorite tools to work with. The are easy to understand and easy to use. With Google Sites, my students will find it easy to understand what is going on in the classroom even if they missed a day. Another great tool is where to store my stuff such as the FTP site.
